Yes, pets are welcome to visit and stay at Crystal Mountain in select units. Please request a pet-friendly unit when reserving your lodging. While staying and/or visiting with us, we ask that you kindly observe the following rules for the comfort of all our guests:

  • In accordance with our local dog ordinances, dogs must be kept on leash and under your control at all times.

  • Dogs are not permitted in the following locations: On lifts, on ski trails during operating hours, on our Golf Courses, and in our retail and food establishments, including The Thistle and Wild Tomato outdoor patios. Well behaved dogs under strict owner control are permitted at the following outdoor patios: Kinlochen Plaza, Mountain Market patio, and the Barr Park patio. Please consult our Front Desk Attendants to inquire whether a facility is dog friendly prior to entering.

Leashed dogs are welcome on our designated hiking trails and disc golf course. Please do not tie your dog up and leave it unattended anywhere on our property including trees, fences, car bumpers, ski or bike racks, chairs and tables, etc. Unattended dogs will be reported to our local dog warden. May I carry a firearm on the premises?

Crystal Mountain prohibits firearms on resort premises, including associated garages and parking lots. Employees and others who enter resort premises with firearms in their possession, regardless of whether or not they are licensed or permitted by law to carry such firearms, concealed or otherwise, are in violation of this policy.

Crystal Mountain is aware that some jurisdictions allow qualifying citizens to obtain permits to carry concealed weapons, including handguns, on public property, except where expressly prohibited. These permits, however, do not automatically confer the right to carry concealed weapons on private property. The sole exception is for law enforcement officers whose official duties require carrying firearms.

Employees and others who violate this policy are subject to disciplinary action up to an including separation from the resort. Others who are found violating this policy will be directed to leave property at once and will be arrested by the police for criminal trespass if they refuse to do so.
