Michigan Beer and Brat Festival returns to Crystal Mountain

March 24, 2022

THOMPSONVILLE, Mich. (March 24, 2022) – The Michigan Beer and Brat Festival is returning to Crystal Mountain after a two-year hiatus – cheers to that! The popular Memorial Day weekend event features Michigan-made craft brews, meads, hard ciders, wines, liquors and, of course, locally sourced brats.

“Postponing the event the past two years wasn’t something we wanted to do, but needed to do in order to do our part in keeping the community healthy,” Crystal Mountain CEO John Melcher said. “The anticipation for its return has been building and we can’t wait to welcome back hundreds of guests to enjoy Michigan’s finest drinks, food and live entertainment to kick off the official start of summer.”

Founders Brewing Company, Saugatuck Brewing Company, Beards Brewery, Uncle John’s Hard Cider, Bell’s Brewery and Iron Fish Distillery are just some of the establishments who will share their best pours with guests on May 28.

Taking the stage this year are the TC Knuckleheads, who are sure to get the party started with their rhythm and blues, classic rock and country, followed by Jedi Mind Trip who will jam out some classic rock n’ roll until the sun goes down.

Tickets for the 15th annual Michigan Beer and Brat Festival are now on sale. VIP Admission is $75 and includes early festival access (3 to 8 p.m.), 20 tickets to be used on drinks or food, two special edition beers, one 8-ounce beer glass and a lanyard that holds the glass. VIP tickets are limited.

General Admission (4 to 8 p.m.) includes one 8-ounce beer glass and 10 event tickets. Admission is $40 per person before April 5, $50 per person between April 5-May 27 and $60 per person at the door. Additional tickets for food and drink will be available for $1 each.

Crystal Mountain asks that you please be responsible about your alcohol consumption. Guests are encouraged to assign a designated driver or use on-property shuttle services. Benzie Bus will also provide free rides for festival goers staying in the local area. Vehicles left overnight will not be ticketed or towed. All guests ages 21 or older must show valid photo I.D.
