Report for November 7, 2025
The first blast of winter weather for our 2025-26 season is predicted to start this weekend! Forecasters are calling for a cold front to drop down from Canada and push across the Great Lakes with strong chances for our first snowfall of the season here at Crystal Mountain.
Our Mountain Ops team has been prepping the slopes and our 178 snowmaking machines for the season ahead. The excitement is building, especially since preliminary weather reports are favorable for another La Niña winter, which helps our famous lake effect snow machine kick into high gear.
