Michigan PGA Women's Open Tournament

The Michigan PGA is celebrating the 31st anniversary of the Michigan Women’s Open. This June will mark 22 years the premier event has been held on the Mountain Ridge course at Crystal Mountain. The 3-round tournament begins Monday, June 24 and wraps up with the championship round and award ceremony on Wednesday, June 26. This event is free for spectators!

The 54-hole, stroke play event is open to past, present and aspiring professional female golfers. The starting field will consist of a maximum of 144 contestants, competing for a $40,000 purse. If there are more than 78 players teeing off in round one, the field will be cut to low 70 and ties after 36 holes. There will be no cut if there are 78 players or less in round one.

New this year, the Michigan PGA is adding a Senior Division, presented by the Great Lakes Sports Commission . The Senior Division is open to women ages 50 and over, regardless of residency. It will be played congruent with the rest of the Open, June 24-26. The yardage for the Senior Division will play from approximately 5700 yards.

Registration for the Open, including the new Senior Division, is available MI PGA website . The entry fee of $265 covers golf with cart and range each day, continental breakfast each morning, and a Meet & Greet event Monday evening. The deadline to register is June 12, 2024 at 5pm. Host family housing is available to players only, and there is also a 15% discount for players interested in Crystal Mountain accommodations.
